Canaria Ocean is a professional marine design firm from Korea, providing naval architectural designs to the recreational and commercial craft industries, equipped with yacht & powerboat manufacturing facility to supply luxurious boats in variety to worldwide marine societies. Services include ship & yacht designs, 3D modeling, stability, structure, CAD, CNC and others as well as furnishing various sail and power yachts; 36ft, 46ft, 60ft catamaran and also 37M Mega-type and others in diversified versions.

Styling inspiration of this mega yacht is from the “Blue Rorqual”. The theme is a blue rorqual and we named this yacht “blue whale”.

Acording to Canaria 

"Thinking about a blue whale, it is the one of the biggest whales in the world and it can swim into the deepest sea among the whales. It can live over 100 years and travel all around the world in its life. It can grow up to 37 m and over 130 tons when it becomes an adult. So it is the big, powerful and active animal in the water. We followed this concept for this design.

Due to these reasons, it has 3 images. Firstly, the big size of this ship will give the huge and active images. Secondly, it can swim the deepest place that means it has safe images. Lastly, long life gives the duration of this ship. After many years it is built, people can use it safely.

We designed its main character line, the zig across upper part, hull and stem to middle is like the mouth of blue whale. Also, sleek and swift figure of yacht exteriors are motivated from the whale swimming. It is low rider profile as looking more fast and stable.   

This blue whale is designed for both life styles, for those who would like to take private recreation and who would like to have a party on it. We focus on overall design and how to use its space effectively. It has special functions such as space extension, lifted salon, etc.

For the precious guests, we separated the “Operating Room” located on wheel house deck from the main deck, so it will give them the unique place to have a special party and a meeting without disturbing from the crews.

Our special place, a sliding cabin on the back of stern, gives more space and reduces death space to help guests more activities on the yacht. Sliding cabin can be used for many ways and the roof gives more space when cabin slides out.

As the attached image, the front window sides up then the front salon will be lifted so it will gives exciting views when it pops up."

This L.O.A is 37 m, L.W.L is 34.7 m, Beam is 9.6 m and draft is 2.2 m. Its design speed is 30 knots per hour.
